[section_title title=”Conclusion”] Conclusion

After having photographed the case from every angle, built in it and used it for a few days it is time to see how I feel it stacks up.

Starting with the design it is aesthetically pleasing. The colour options are always a nice touch and the DS200 has curves in all the right places just like a beautiful woman. It is designed with enthusiast gamer’s in mind and it shows. Things such as the interchangeable top panels and leaving plenty of room for watercooling pumps and reservoirs really help touch on the fact Aerocool wanted to cover all their bases and make sure consumers have a case with top-of-the-line design.

Touching on the performance and as the DS200 is part of the “Dead Silence” range, we can expect the thermal performance to maybe not be as good as some of the other cases. I did all my testing with all of the silent parts on and have to say it is definitely near silent. The only thing I could hear at any point in time was my H80i and that is only because where I sit is a few inches away from the back exhaust.

Looking at the DS200 from a cooling aspect and it offers some nice features. There is room for either a 240mm or 280mm radiator in both the front and the top of the case which should provide ample cooling for whatever hardware you may install. If you are not looking to install any watercooling in the way of a custom loop or All-in-one cooler, then the max CPU cooler high of 170mm should have you covered for just about any air cooler you would want. This is a full size tower with more than enough room for full size cooling and it shows.

When you consider the price this case is just full of win! A quick Google search and I was able to find this case for just under £65 which is absolutely amazing if you ask me.  The Aerocool DS is rivaling cases in terms of design and performance that would cost almost twice as much. Taking into account the extras like the addition 5.25″ front plates for DVD drives or hot swap bays and the mesh top panel that all come included and it only adds to the amazing value the DS200 has to offer.

At the end of the day if you looking for a big, sturdy and easy to use case that offers good performance in an aesthetically pleasing package then the Aerocool DS200 may just be right up your alley. The DS200 is going to be a big contender in it’s price range and shall rival cases costing quite a bit more. I would like to thank Aerocool for sending the DS200 in for review and look forward to seeing more from them in the future.

Summary

The Aerocool DS200 offers all the features you would expect to see in a case costing almost twice as much. It also offers good performance and was designed with consumers in mind. If you are in the market for a new case and what to choose from a few different colour options, the DS200 should be right up your alley.
