AUDIO AND GRAPHICS

The audio in this game again is of course important, and with the newly added creatures it makes the sound even more important.  You will be needing to keep a keen ear out for creatures as well as people, a thing I will say about the hybrid bugs, I don’t know how they got the sound for when they die, but it creeps me out almost as much as when they’re still alive which is saying something!  The voice actors in this game for the English translation are improved upon from the previous game clearly because the developers must have realised that it was something they really needed to do since the vast majority of the game’s playerbase speak English.  I do think they can be improved even more, maybe get some top voice actors in there to take the reigns of a character or 2, it would honestly make the next game in the franchise something glorious to behold!

Another beautiful game in the series of course, and with both games being a Redux release means that it’s a beautiful franchise thus far.  The game also runs on the highest settings on my PC and while I play it on the hardest difficulty, it’s not a game where I really get fed up of seeing the same thing every so often.  The game also adds the same tragic beauty that was in the previous game like in the picture below where you see a family that just didn’t make it and embrace one last time.  It is very rare where you’ll see some textures that don’t look good at all, it will be seen once in a while in places where clearly you weren’t expected to go wandering.
