Audio and Graphics

Graphics wise Radial-G is like the gameplay, there are some neat ideas but it never really rises above functional. It never gets in the way of the experience, but neither does it stand out in anyway. The vehicles look uninspired, and on the track it’s only the rings of light for each vehicle that enables you to tell them apart.

The VR support is pretty good, with stable, high frame rates. Menus wrap around you comfortably and the ship feels solid enough. Turning your head 90 degrees to either side does introduce clipping issues with the cockpit that draw you out of the experience.

The audio suffers from a similar problem, functional but not outstanding. The tracks never really change at any point in the game. Race, menu, loading, all have the same soundtrack play between each of them.
