CONCLUSION

Jumping from a wall into a mid-air cartwheel while firing pistols at two different demons is so much fun. That’s the meat of the game really, pull off fancy moves while shooting and make it all feel incredibly slick. The instant response of your actions combined with it’s gorgeous animation makes it feel like nothing else. When everything is working that is.

The difficulty meter is a big problem, having a graphical representation of how hard things are means you can play the system and keep the difficulty down below a whole number. Knowing that at 3.0 the flame demon gains a shield and more firepower means you’ll try and target them first if you are below the threshold.

Seraph Game

Despite this it’s still a lot of fun, and the upgrade system does give a sense of progression. I found myself thoroughly engrossed in the action, the silky smooth animation drawing me in. For the current price, it depends on how much you enjoy the individual genres and how high your tolerance is for heavy-handed Christian themes.
