play Expo showmasters

Today we are pleased to announce that we have formed a partnership with Showmasters Ltd that will allow us to introduce new features to this year’s Play Expo and will also see us bringing gaming content to the Showmasters portfolio of events.

TV and movie star meet-and-greets, photo opportunities with the celebrities, film props and movie cars will be some of the new additions to this year’s Play Expo which is confirmed to take place at EventCity, Manchester on the 11th – 12th of October.

These new features will not be replacing any of the existing Play Expo content – in fact we expect all areas of the show will continue to expand this year. The new ‘Screenplay’ area will complement the existing show and where possible it will be relevant to gaming.

You will be able to meet some of the voice stars and actors from the games, the graphical artists who created the characters within the games or see the props and cars from the TV shows and films that the games are based on.

The partnership opens up many possibilities and it is a very exciting time for us – we hope you will join us this October to experience this new feature for Play Expo.

In addition, we will be providing the gaming content for Showmasters events such as the London, Cardiff, Newcastle and Sheffield Film & Comic Cons, as well as the Collectormania events which take place in Milton Keynes and Glasgow. We have already announced a number of CGC heats at upcoming Showmasters events and we will continue to expand the gaming zone at all these shows.

The partnership will also see us working together to stage new events across the UK over the forthcoming years – more details to be revealed in due course!

We’d appreciate you spreading the good news, especially sharing and retweeting the social media links.
