Gigabit Ethernet label

Northampton, UK – September 30, 2013 –, a leading manufacturer of hard-to-find connectivity parts, has announced the release of four new USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapters, each equipped with additional USB pass-through ports that enable users to connect USB peripherals in place of the port required for connecting the adapters to the host computer.

The adapters support the full bandwidth of a Gigabit network connection based on SuperSpeed USB throughput, providing users with a fast and reliable network connection without reducing the number of available connection ports. Ideally suited to Ultrabook and other laptop computers, the network adapters help users maximize their system expansion options for optimal system connectivity and capability.

“As laptops and Ultrabooks continually evolve towards a smaller footprint size, the availability of port connections to various peripherals is increasingly becoming very limited” said Carey Cline, Senior Product Manager for’s Laptop Accessories product line. “These network adapters make it easier for users to overcome those limitations, which extends the limited connectivity they have to multiple applications.”

Each of the adapters being release are: 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 10BASE-T compatible and offer Jumbo Frame, Checksum Offload and Large Send Offload support.
