Two premium InWin chassis are now available at Overclockers UK! 3

22/09/2015, Overclockers UK, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, are listing the InWin 909 and the InWin Chopin chassis’. Both chassis’ share the high quality design and construction philosophy but with different aesthetics, the 909 being a full tower design that can withhold extreme amounts of hardware, to the Chopin that is a Mini-ITX chassis designed for users who are looking for a home theatre PC.

InWin 909

The InWin 909 has been crafted following the success of the 904 ATX and the 901 Mini-ITX chassis, the 909 is a full tower design supporting ATX and E-ATX motherboard with the latest USB 3.1 connectivity. It’s tinted, tempered glass sides, 4mm single-piece aluminium construction and internal white LED lighting gives the 909 a refined, minimalist exterior and cutting edge style in tune with the latest 2015 designs. Continuing the simplicity and elegance, with a unique backpanel design that hides unsightly I/O cables to offer a cleaner and a cable tidy system.

At the front of the case features magnetic aluminium dust filters that allow tool-less quick removal and cleaning. The front connectors on the InWin 909 includes three USB 3.0 ports and a single USB 3.1 Type-C, in addition to the 3.5mm stereo and microphone jacks. The spacious chassis allows versatile cooling options and supports up to eight fans and four radiators. When air cooled, there’s space for CPU heatsinks up to 175mm and up to 320mm graphics cards with PCI Express, eight expansion slots total. Power supplies up to 220mm long is also supported.

The separate HDD and PSU chambers provide isolated thermal environments allowing airflow to dissipate heat directly to the back venting holes without interfering with the motherboard and graphics card area. With a focus on modern storage needs, internal drive space includes four 3.5” / 2.5” tool-less HDD trays and six 2.5” SSD brackets at the rear of motherboard.

InWin Chopin

The InWin Chopin has a modern and vibrant design that makes it the ideal choice for home theatre PCs (HTPC) or for simply any desk or living room. It can be orientated either horizontally or vertically to suit any slim pace. To complement its sleek and clean brushed aluminium fascia, it comes bundled with four colours of front I/O stripes to allow a unique user customization.

Internally the Chopin is painted all black, including its power supply, while the 4mm thick aluminium and strong SECC steel provides the best balance of weight-tostrength ratio, with the whole case weighing just 2.2kg. Large perforated mesh panels along two sides allows for excellent airflow. A small 150W 80 Plus Bronze power supply is included, featuring a low noise fan and customized shape, to maximize internal space within the Chopin’s slim profile. Despite its tiny size, Chopin can pack in two 2.5” drives, mini-ITX motherboard and CPU heatsink up to 43mm tall.
