According to the list published on the pre-order information section of the Xbox One website, the list of countries is quite small.  The likes of Japan have been left off the list and can imagine a few gamers from the land of the rising sun being somewhat bewildered by this.

It remains to be seen but here is the list directly from source.

Xbox One games are for activation and distribution only in specified geographic regions. See game package and/or retailer product information, for each game’s specific geographic regions.

I feel gamers across the world will be taking even more jabs at Microsoft regarding this, especially with the number of internet meme’s aimed at the global giant.  With the intense battle to one up each other continuing at a thick and fast pace, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.  With Xbox currently leading in console pre-orders, is this Sony’s chance to shine and capitalize?

How will Microsoft try to recover from all this? I have no idea but the console war has already started to take shape and I look forward to the outcome.
