As with most PC cases, they normally come in a brown cardboard box and the Ronin is no different in this respect.  BitFenix have however illustrated the chassis on the side of the box and it features all the relevant information such as the brand and model (always important).

In terms of packaging, the Ronin is held in place with 2 large polystyrene inserts which should ensure the case arrives damage and knock free.  It also has a thin clear plastic bag to keep dust out during transit also.

Moving onto the actual chassis itself, the Ronin is all black and features a very large viewing window.  The edging of the case which includes the top panel features SofTouch which BitFenix themselves designed.  I’m not too sure on it myself as I don’t really see the need but there will be some who like it.

On the flip side, we have pretty much the same thing; without the viewing window of course.

On the rear, the usual suspects are present.  There is space for the I/O shield for the motherboard, 7 x PCI slots, a bottom mounted power supply, space for 1 x 120mm fan (which is included with the Ronin) and also has 2 x rubber grommets for water cooling.

The front features the trademark BitFenix logo on the bottom which can be customised with different coloured ones via Overclockers UK which is always a nice touch and there are 3 x 5.25 drive bays.  Perfect if you wanted to house a DVD-RW or a Blu-Ray drive as well as a bay pump/res combo as the Ronin does support water cooling.  Towards the bottom, there is also a solid honeycomb mesh effect panel which allows air to be pulled through by 2 x 120mm fans (only 1 is included).
