The Build

The specifications of the system inside the NZXT Noctis 450 are as follows:

CPU – Intel Core i7 4770k
Motherboard – MSI Z97 Gaming 9 AC
Cooler – Noctua NH-D15
Memory – 16GB Crucial Ballistix (2x8GB) 1866MHz

Graphics Card – Gigabyte GTX Titan X
Power Supply – Superflower Leadex Platinum 750w
SSD – Crucial MX 200 250GB

The NZXT Noctis 450 yielded a pretty good experience to build inside with some very nifty design features; the most notable being the 2.5” drive mounts on the PSU shroud. It is very easy to make practically any system look nice, clean and tidy inside this case, with plenty of rubber grommets for cable management.

The PSU cover helps not only hide the power supply, but provides a completely separate chamber in which is invisible from view. This allows for better cable management throughout the system, but also looks visually stunning.

NZXT Noctis 450 Build 1

Our Crucial MX200 250GB looks stunning inside the Noctis 450 due to the sweet mounts inside the main chamber of the chassis.

NZXT Noctis 450 Build 2

There is plenty of space up top, even with our beastly Noctua NH-D15 installed inside; great news for water coolers.

NZXT Noctis 450 Build 3

Here we have the finished article, nice clean lines, although the top panel does look a little garish in my opinion; it does however fit in with the general aesthetic of the case. Overall the interior is fantastic with the exterior coming down to personal taste and preference.
