Taking a look at the inside of the case and if you are not familiar with cases that have rotated motherboard trays it can take a moment or two to try and figure out exactly what in the heck is going on here. One thing is for certain though, there is plenty of room for components and places to easily route cables.

Removing the top vent area from the case will also reveal access to two individual fan controllers that offer either a low or high setting.

The RV05 is designed by default to accommodate four hard drives of sorts, two 3.5″ and two 2.5″ drives, below we can see the housing for the easily accessible 3.5″ drives. The 2.5″ drive slots are located on the backplate just to the right of the 3.5″ cage.

Looking at the front of the inside and there is not a whole lot going on here, there is a big area where all the cables from the front IO and fan controllers come through and we can also see where the slimline slot loading optical drive will be mounted.

Looking at the rear of the case above the 3.5″ hard drive cage and there is a single vent that is designated for the PSU, there is no denying this case has a unique design.

As mentioned the bottom is home to two 180mm fans that will help push and exhaust the heat out of the top of the case, with the unique design and these fans helping along thermal performance should be quite nice in the RV05.

There really is not a whole lot going on what would be considered the backside of the motherboard tray. We can now get a better look at where the slimeline optical drive will go and on the backside of the motherboard tray itself there are a few clips that user will be able to go ahead and tie cables to help route them to their desired locations.
