Thermaltake View 37 Riing Review: The Verdict
So if you watched the review you’ll have seen the Thermaltake View 37 Riing walk away with the gold award. Overall, the View 37 Riing has a lot to offer and is more than worthy.
The build quality is excellent with a solid metal case, plastic front panel with a tinted plastic window and let’s not forget the unique gull-wing curved acrylic window which covers the whole side panel and almost the roof as well. Well priced at the time of the review at £100-115.
The Thermaltake View 37 Riing is well laid out and makes use of the space inside to easily build inside of. There is plenty of space in the rear of the case for cable management with the ability to also mount 4 3.5″ hard drives and up to 8 2.5″ HDD/SSD’s, which is fantastic. Inside, the inclusion of the vertically mounted GPU stand is great as is it’s option to remove it with 3 screws should you not want to use it.
Though a riser cable isn’t included, they are available to purchase separately at a lot of retailers for great prices, I’d recommend the 200mm Thermaltake riser cable I had for this review without a doubt.
As well as the ability to remove the hard drive cage which is something I would do should I use this case personally, there is plenty of space inside to easily build inside of the case including adding custom water cooling loops with relative ease. Thermaltake have implemented the VRV or vertical radiator view with the View 37 Riing which also lets you mount radiators which are on a more prominent display, as well as the option to mount them in the front panel in a more traditional manner.
Personally, I really like the aesthetic of the View 37 Riing case. As previously mentioned the original gull-wing window gives the case all of its character and certainly makes it stand out from the crowd. I’ve also seen very little cases that have such a large window to view the internals, something I’m very fond of. Saying that, I would have preferred to have seen a clear panel on the front of the case rather than it being tinted.
