The Build

In one paragraph the build was pretty simple, nothing complex as there is no internal routing for the cables. Thus everything just falls into place, it really is quite nice to build a case without worrying about seeing the inside! I did try to keep the socket area nice and free allowing air to flow up through the PSU and rear 120mm fan. The drives are also easy to install as you can face the connectors out of the cage they rest in. In fact, this case was as easy as the SG13 in terms of build time and ease. But as you can see this case will get messy, and your only real choice is to use a huge amount of cable ties and short cables to attempt to keep it super clean.

mess

I’m going to have to add another paragraph just to talk about a few of the things they could have done with this product. In fact really it is just one minor detail I have to point out, such an incredible point that could elevate this case to something. If a case is going to hide all of the internals anyway, we can live with the PSU being situated above the motherboard and rotating it all around in a way similar to the FT03 mini. Then relocating the drives to the bottom of the case and perhaps using the right side of the case for ventilation, in fact you could relocate the board to the left-hand side of the case and the fans to the rear of the case. Whilst this might sound slightly odd, it would give for huge potential and make it highly sought after in the SFF culture.

With that out of the way, the build was as I expected, a messy ordeal. But in a case without windows or anything to show off its not really a bad thing. Even Dave had problems getting it to look tidy in his review of the Nebula.
