[section_title title=”Introduction”]Introduction

Enermax have been one of the mainstays in the component industry for over 2 decades now and company HQ hails from Taoyuan, Taiwan and are currently one of the biggest brands in power supplies and cooling solutions in the world.  With a strict ethos of providing quality over quantity and with numerous design awards to their name, you can pretty much guarantee that what you get inside the box has all the quality that Enermax claim it to have.

Following on in the footsteps of the ELC120 and ELC240 which were released in 2012, Enermax have recently released their latest range of AIO CPU coolers, namely Liqtech and Liqmax.  With Enermax focusing primarily on performance, it is always interesting to see if new designs can out match older ones.

Today up for review is the Liqtech range and specifically, the Liqtech 120X which features a double thick radiator designed to dissipate more heat than normal 120mm AIO coolers and also comes equipped with 2 x 120mm fans with adjustable speeds.  Will the Liqtech beat the ELC120 I reviewed a while back and more importantly, where does it rate in our performance charts?  Let’s get started with the specifications…
