Taking a look at the boxes for the industrialPPC and Redux fans they are very similar, the main difference is of course the colour. Our industrialPPC fans come in a box that is almost completely black except for a bit of dark brown accenting on the sides.
The front of the box has a small image of the Noctua Owl towards the top right and also lets us know that this is in fact an industrialPPC fan and gives us our full model name towards the bottom.
Moving onto the back of the box we of course have our overall black design but this time there is what looks like a sticker as well that gives us all of our details. While it may look like a sticker it surely is not and contains detailed specifications and info for the fan inside; letting us know things like: Dimensions, IP Rating, Bearing Type, Rotation Speed, Airflow, Acoustic Noise, Static Pressure, Input Power, Voltage and our MTBF which in this case, is 150,000h
.
When we open the box we can see our fan is nicely protected in it’s own cardboard holder inside the box.
The only accessories included in the box are the screws to attach the fan to your case. However, they are silver so will not be everyone’s cup of tea. Noctua please add black screws next time!
