[section_title title=”Conclusion”]Conclusion

So now that we have finished vigorously testing the Themis Evo, does it stack up with the likes of Scythe Mugen 4 and the very powerful Enermax ELC120? And is the Themis Evo king of cheap Coolers?

Well in terms of performance, the Themis Evo is where we would expect it to be in the middle. It handled very well  with our 4770k at 3.9GHz  and even at 4.5GHz the Themis Evo again holds its own. I feel it handled well for a very cheap CPU cooler you wouldn’t expect much from, especially when overall the closet CPU cooler to it is the Scythe Mugen 4 which is £10 more.

Moving away from performance we get on to how silent the Themis Evo is. Although it may not be the quietest CPU cooler we have tested it does fall in the middle where we wouldn’t expect it too. When there is so many coolers out there which costs more but performs near the same, are we just paying for the brand and not the cooler itself?

For me the Themis Evo is not only a good CPU Cooler but it may change people’s opinion when they choose a cheap CPU cooler. Like I said earlier for £27.95 it’s a bargain, not only will it do the job but it will do it well.

So for me the Themis Evo deserves our Value and Silver awards, not only do I enjoy things that are cheap but when they are cheap and do the job designed for a more expensive product it makes me happy. I would imagine it probably makes everyone else happy too knowing they got bang for their buck.

I want to thank Raijintek for letting me test their product.

Summary

The Raijintek Thermis Evo is a prime example of a budget cooler that works. With it’s pleasant aesthetic and mid-range performance, under £30 makes this cooler not just a bargain, but a serious contender to the more stalwart brands; great job Raijintek
