Closer Look
Taking a look at what’s on the box first, the front shows a graphic of a ninja about to kill the cooler (OK, probably not, but after a few coffees it starts to look that way) as well as CPU compatibility information.
Moving on to the side we see some of the features and design style explained.
Around the back we have a detailed explanation of the 2 year warranty as well as advisory regarding how to use to cooler safely. There is also the rather strange notification that only the cooler is contained and to “Please purchase other PC devices separately”. I fear for the human race when this type of statement is necessary.
Around the corner on the final side there is a rather nice technical drawing of the fan from all planes of view along with sizes to help you confirm whether this monolith with squeeze into your shuttle case or not.
Inside the box we have a set of accessories and a rather long screwdriver… a hint at the the challenges involved when it comes to installing and something that I admit filled me with a intrepidation.
Then we have the cooler itself, complete with 140mm fan pre-fitted with its braided cable and PWM 4-pin plug.
From underneath, we can more clearly see the 8 heat pipes in that cross pattern.
