Performance wise the Mini Cannon held up very well in my testing. While I didn’t have the volume cranked to the max I can only imagine that most won’t either which is why I do my testing at around 50-75% volume. This may not be the loudest speaker I have had but at 100% volume is more than I need when testing in my house.

Testing the duration of battery life I used varying volumes as previously mentioned using the MC-1 over the period of a couple of days. I was quite impressed with the battery life, according the AcoustiPhase it should last for around 10hours and I am happy to report I had an average use of just over 13 hours per test. This is more than reasonable as the 10 hours should be at full volume and I would say most of my testing was around 75% volume.

The MC-1 is a Bluetooth speaker so it of course allows for you to take phone calls directly over the speaker without the need to disconnect your phones Bluetooth function.  I must say receiving the phone call and talking through the mic on the speaker went well, though when being on the phone end of the conversation it was not so clear. There didn’t seem to be much noise cancellation and it sounded as if I was echoing in a hallway.
