[section_title title=”Conclusion”] Conclusion

Starting off with the design the downdraft is small and has a bit of a unique design with the speaker pointing down which helps amplify and make the sound seem richer. It also comes in a variety of colours to help suit individual user preference and should generally fit in nicely with most surroundings. The only thing missing from the design in my opinion would be a way to adjust the volume on the downdraft itself instead of having to adjust the volume on your phone.

Taking a look at the performance and it faired very well. When turning it up all the way there was very little distortion in the sound which is great for a device of its size. During my testing the downdraft spent most of its time around 50% volume and it sounds perfect to me, was definitely a nice addition to my desktop setup for the time I used it. My only real issue was when using the downdraft on the lowest setting it wasn’t as quiet as I would have hoped for.

When it comes to the price of the BOOMPODS downdraft, it offers good value for the money. Coming in just shy of £30 you get a speaker with a unique design and a number of colour options to chose from. Most people will be likely to set this atop there desk for a bit of music while working and for that it is great! The downdraft will be sure to see you through the day in terms of battery life so that always helps.

I would like to thank BOOMPODS for sending the downdraft in for review and look forward to seeing more from them in the future.
