Taking a closer look at the G2 itself it has the nice Kingston ‘Head’ logo on the top with an overall black rubber look/feel.
On the bottom are 4 tiny feet, the model and serial numbers and a bunch of technical logos that companies are forced to include on electronic items.
One of the features I found very useful was though this is meant to be a wireless media reader it still has a lan port on it. This means you can connect it to your home network and not only access it from mobile devices but your home computers and laptops as well. This should prove very useful to most users.
On one side we have the media reader ports by way of a full size SD card reader and a USB port. Please note the USB port will also double as the charging port so we can use some of the inbuilt battery to charge mobile devices.
Taking a look at the front and there we have the LED indicator lights, power button, microUSB charging port to charge up the G2 and to the right a bit of MobileLite Wireless G2 branding.
