[section_title title=Conclusion]Conclusion

When it comes to the design of the MobileLite Wireless G2 it is very well thought out. The black rubberised top and bottom add a nice look to the white trim that goes around the G2. It is equipped with most things one would hope to see in a product of its type. The indication LEDs on the front make sure users know what is going on with the device and if it is connected to anything and the addition of a dedicated LAN port adds further usability to the normal Wifi features. Let’s not forget it can take both USB and SD cards and has an in-built power bank to charge your other mobile devices if need be.

On to the performance and there are a lot of factors to consider here; internet/wifi speeds, what SD card or USB is being used and even the phone connected to the G2 can affect the overall performance of the device. In my testing I used a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and an Iphone 5c simultaneously with no problems. Buffer time were not bad at all when starting to play a new movie and transferring files wasn’t too bad but as mentioned there is a lot to consider in the overall transfer speeds.

Taking a look at the price which is £35 and I feel this is a reasonable price. The G2 offers good functionality in a simple to use device. It does what it is meant to and does it well. For £35 you are getting a Wireless media reader that can stream, share and save your precious moments or your favourite songs and videos.

At the end of the day the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 does what it says on the box and does it well. It offers users a way to share, save and stream files across multiple mobile devices at the same time and can even be connected to a local home network. Users can also use the in-built power bank to help charge their mobile devices when on the go, further adding to the value and performance of the Wireless G2.

I would like to thank Kingston for sending the Wireless G2 in for review and look forward to seeing more from them in the future.
