[section_title title=”Groovy Audio Center”] Groovy Audio Centre

The box advertised the companion app, Groovy Audio Centre. Lets take a brief look at it.

Groovyaudio home

Here is the home screen, its pretty basic but not in a bad way.

groovyaudio eq

Of the four bubbles, the top left takes us to an equalizer. The select preset menu has loads of options, enough for anyone to find one that’s close enough.

groovyaudio player

The top right one takes us just to a basic media player which uses local files by the looks of it, hence the absence of any music on mine as I use Spotify.

groovyaudio library

Clicking the red list at the top right of the player takes us to a well sorted library, with plenty of organisation.

groovyaudio options

There is also an options menu within the library viewer that has plenty of options for you to tweak.

groovyaudio radio

Back onto the main menu though and the bottom right bubble takes us to the internet radio feature. There are so many different options, you wont struggle for something to listen to.

Finally the bottom left bubble simply turns Bluetooth on and off.

The Groovy audio center is a nice companion to the speaker and if you store music locally on your phone or use Google play music it would be a really nice interface. Combined with a built in EQ and a wealth of settings to tweak its a nice little app.

Moving on, lets take a look at the battery life of the speaker.
