PNY Technologies is normally most well-known for RAM and maybe graphics cards depending on where in the world you live. However, this does not stop them from manufacturing other products such as memory cards, mobile power solutions, USB flash drives, solid state drives, headphones and even HDMI cables.  While they may not be the most recognized company they have been around for some time and have rightfully earned their place in the PC components market.

PNY Electronics was founded in Brooklyn New York in 1985 and were a company that bought and sold memory chips. In 1996 the company was headquartered in Moonachie, New Jersey and had manufacturing plants in Moonachie, NJ; Santa Clara, CA and even in Bordeaux France to help serve the European market.  In 1997 the company changed its name to PNY Technologies to put an emphasis on the fact they were expanding into manufacturing new types of memory and complementary products.

Today I will be taking a look at a product that is geared towards mobile users; namely the PNY Wireless Media Reader. The Wireless Media Reader is designed for consumers to easily be able to stream, share or save their photos, movies and other files they may want to access from a mobile device.  It allows for 5 users to connect simultaneously and is currently compatible with Android and IOS devices. It also features a 2,000mAh powerbank to help charge your devices.
