Comfort
I was originally surprised by the  shape and size of the Volos as it’s a lot larger than mice I’ve used recently and devoid of the angular designs that seem to be quite popular too. However, I’m pleased to announce that the Volos is actually quite nice to use and functions solidly for gaming purposes. The in-offensive design allows a relaxed grip and an exercised hand whilst in use and the buttons are all within a hand’s flex to press. It will take some time to get used the right-side of the mouse, but all of the functions on the left are within reach and effortless to use. The Volos has a distinctive weight to it that few mice I’ve used before have managed to replicate. The 31.5g weights included will allow anyone to customise the tracking of the mouse to their needs and wants, combined with the plethora of buttons, the Volos would be ideal for an MMORPG player, I think, more than your usual FPS

Gaming
For gaming I tried both League of Legends and Skyrim. The Volos was great in League of Legends, especially with the added functionality on the right-side of the mouse. I’m not usually one to exploit macros and general gaming functions of peripheral as I find feeling around for said buttons usually to be cumbersome, but the location the C-E buttons allowed me to have an effortless control of some word macros I had assigned for in-game location and ward placement. Furthermore, the heavily populated left-side of the mouse was home to my usual ping commands as well as item slots and the camera lock. I usually only run with the smart pings on mice with plenty of buttons, so moving to a gameplay style where I was using the mouse more was definitely beneficial and meant I could keep my left hand ready for abilities at all times.

Moving onto Skyrim, I decided to visit this game recently after installing some new mods and it’s been the first time I’ve played the game for an extended period with a mouse whilst reviewing the Volos, and that’s a credit to the Volos. As Skyrim is a lot slower paced than a MOBA I was able to assign my map, inventory, shouts and everything but the kitchen sink to the Volos and experience Skyrim with a mouse and KB for the first time, really, since I tinkered about with the game at release. The Volos (along with some mods) made the whole Skyrim inventory and general games systems a breeze to use and certainly made my return trip to Skyrim a lot more enjoyable.
