Lets kick off the review by taking a look at the packaging the FK1 comes in.

package front

Unsurprisingly given the nature of the product, the packaging isn’t flashy. We have a nice black on white contrast with yellow accents and a small amount of colour on the dpi levels diagram. We also have a nice big window which gives us a good look at the mouse inside.

package side

The side of the box is equally simple, this time with instructions on how to change the report rate of the mouse. I like the fact that the box is almost an instruction manual, and that you can simply take a look at the box whilst you get it set up and you are away.

package rear

At the back of the box we have a feature rundown in a variety of languages, most of these are on the previous page if you want to read them. Also at the bottom to the left of the horizontal barcode is yet another instruction telling us how to set the mouse up for left/right handed use.

package inside

Sliding out the inside of the packaging we can see that it sticks to the simple theme with a single piece of black cardboard holding the mouse and its plastic cover in place. Also in the box are a Zowie sticker and more interestingly some replacement feet for the mouse which is something I’ve never seen before from other manufacturers and is a nice inclusion from Zowie.

So the packaging is clean and simple, how will the mouse compare?
