[section_title title=”Introduction”]Introduction

Not many companies can claim they are a household name in the world of components, cooling and peripherals but Cooler Master sure can! Cooler Master was founded in 1992 with the goal of creating and marketing some of the best cooling products on the market and with that, branched out into other avenues such as their gaming brand (CM Storm).  Of course Cooler Master didn’t just stop at coolers but also have a very popular range of cases ranging from M-ITX to some of the most beastly of tower cases (Cosmos 2 springs to mind), but today, I will be taking a look at their latest power supply and putting it on the test bench.

Yes today I will be taking a look at the Cooler Master V750 SM (semi modular) 750w power supply with a fantastic 80 PLUS GOLD efficiency rating, all Japanese capacitors and single rail design.  With the power supply market “heating” up of late, will the V750 SM be able to provide end users with a quality, efficient and more importantly, cost effective solution?  Let’s find out, starting with the specifications…
