Assassin's Creed - Holy Wars Assassinations! 4

[section_title title=Introduction]

Introduction

Set in the year 1191 during the Holy Wars in the Holy Land you take control of Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, a master assassin. Your job within this game is to simply assassinate some fools! Until you have to take control of Desmond Miles, a simple bar worker who was kidnapped by Abstergo Industries to go through memories of his ancestors. In my honest opinion, the whole Abstergo and Desmond thing was completely unnecessary, and this game would actually have been 10x the game if they simply left that out and made it a game set completely during the Holy Wars.

Aside from that though, this is the game that started one of the sometimes controversial but overall great game franchises. Ubisoft released the game about a year after the release of the Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 and they really managed to make this game look great for it’s time and to this day on PC it still looks a decent game and looks better than a few “new” games out there.

It’s a little unfair to compare this particular title to the rest of the Assassin’s Creed games, simply because of how much has changed from the first to the second game. I still however rate this one as high, if not higher than almost all the other games in the franchise, and at a small price of £9.99, if you’ve never played it, now would be the time to try!
