Alienation is a PS4 exclusive made by Housemarque Games and is a spiritual successor to Dead Nation, we haven’t seen anything from it since Gamescom 2014 but it’s looking pretty good in the new pre-alpha footage video.
This video which Housemarque Games posted to their youtube channel shows an early pre-alpha 3 player co-op session. As you can probably tell, the game is still a work in progress but Alienation seems like a mash-up of Housemarque’s two previous games. On it’s website Housemarque Games describes it’s new game as a spiritual successor to the top-down zombie shooter, Dead Nation and it seems like it has similar level and character design, you could also say that despite this it looks like it has the fast paced action and weapon design of Super Stardust HD.
Alienation is a four player drop in/drop out top down multiplayer game that is exclusion to the PS4. It will have co-operative, single player and PvP modes. Nothing is concrete yet and the game’s official site still says “coming soon” but Sony have previously confirmed the game for a 2015 release.
