LG has just released info on the world’s first 34inch UltraWide monitor. There are currently no listed retailers for this beast but they have been kind enough to let us drool over the specs they have listed.
The 34inch Mega Monitor with feature a 21:9 UltraWide QHD display with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels. LG goes on to boast this will allow you to view 47 columns and 63 rows at once in Microsoft Excel. It will also support Thunderbolt™ 2, which if you don’t know, is a technology that supports high-resolution display and high-performance data devices.
The 34UM95 will also support multiple variations of split screen, eliminating the need for multiple monitors for most users. You will be able to split the screen into 2, 3 and even 4 separate visual monitors with 8 different variations. In order to do so you will need to make sure you are using a DVI-D, HMDI or DisplayPort connection.
On top of all that, the 34UM95 will also be compatible with the MAC PRO and will allow you to use some of its better features such as the 4-Screen split and True Colour Finder.
