[section_title title=Closer Look – Interior]Closer Look – Interior
When taking the side panels off to have a look inside I must say, I really was not expecting a whole lot. However, when I got the panels off it wasn’t as bad as I expected. There are a few cut-outs to help route cables to the back of the case and what appears to be plenty of enough room to install most components fairly easy. There is also a nice big cut-out in the motherboard tray that should allow for the installation and changing of a CPU cooler with ease.
To the front of the case starting from the top are 3x tool-less 5.25″ optical drive bays, under those, is a space for 3x 2.5″ SSDs.
We also then, of course, have room for 3x 3.5 hard drives and again, they feature a tool-less design for easy installation.
On to the back of the case we have a nice pre-installed fan which sadly I didn’t get to enjoy, due to our testing procedures. We can also see the 7x expansion bay slots and the sneaky little top cover that liked to keep falling out of place in my photos.
Flipping around to the back side of the motherboard tray and you will see there’s a bit of room for cable management, a nice surprise for a case of its price. Where the 3 main cut-outs are where most users will put their cables through to the front is a nice indentation, this is nice as this is where most of the cables will be bunched up and any extra room/help is always appreciated. There are also quite a few places for users to attach zip ties to further help them in their cable routing endeavours.
