The first thing that will grab consumers attention on the front of the box will most likely be the red-outline image of the MAELSTROM 120K itself, if not this than then silver Gamer Storm logo at the top right may do it. Across the bottom we have the model – MAELSTROM 120K also letting us know this is in fact a liquid CPU cooler.
On that back we have the technical specifications alongside a diagram view of the dimensions of the coolers. There is also a QR code users can scan to get quick access to more information about the Maelstrom 120K.
On on side of the box is a list of features DEEPCOOL wanted to highlight.
On the other side is the CPU socket compatibility list.
Opening the box and we can see that everything is packaged nicely and most of it comes inside plastic bags as well.
Inside the box are the Maelstrom 120K, a 20mm thick PWM fan, a user manual, a Gamer Storm badge and all of the mounting hardware we should need to get everything installed.
For mounting hardware there are a few different bags with screws and brackets depending on the socket type you will be using the Maelstrom 120K. The backplate is universal and will work for both Intel and AMD systems and the few screws you can notice that aren’t in a bag are for attaching the fan to the radiator and attaching the radiator to your case of choice.
