Ryzen is now days away from launch and finally, pictures of the chips have been leaked. The new CPUs come with the Ryzen branding embellished across the IHS along with data that can be used to the CPUs name and model number.
Further information that has been leaked is that the chips are marked as “diffused in the US” and “made in china” this would appear to show that the silicon cores for these CPUs were made in the “GlobalFoundaries” plant in New York State America. The cores must then be shipped to china where they are assembled with their substrate and IHS and then packed up for sale.
