GTA V is being delayed once again! Sorry folks but those of you who were hoping to get your hands on Rockstar’s latest title before Christmas will be disappointed as the developer has now announced that the PC version of the game will be delayed until January 27 2015. A comment posted by a Rockstar employee on the announcement blog post said the following:
“We’re glad to see so many of you are excited for the upcoming release of the new versions of GTAV and we look forward to sharing more details with you soon. We are also incredibly excited to be bringing GTAV to the PC, but the game requires a little more development time in order to ensure that it is as amazing and polished as possible. Please do stay tuned as we reveal new features and information about all the new versions in the weeks ahead.”
The next gen versions of the game are coming with a bunch of upgrades over the original game. This combined with Rockstar having an open position for someone who is “Passionate about PC gaming” just over a year ago, and the fact that the PC version is being released with the next gen versions of the game all point towards a good pc port being in the works. And so it should be, a petition that went viral last year to bring the game to PC after it was announced reached almost three quarters of a million signatures.
We’ll do our best to get hold of a copy to review and let you know how it performs. Will you be picking up GTA V on release, or has it been too long to keep you interested enough to purchase it? Let us know.
