Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is set to release the second half of 2015, the Swedish developer (and publisher) Fatshark worked closely with Games Workshop “to ensure that the right Warhammer feel is accomplished.” It’s a first-person co-op game (four-player) set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe which I would have preferred to have a single-player option available too but this may come eventually. Players are pitted against the Skaven, one of my favourite races in Warhammer Fantasy. I still have a few Skaven miniatures kicking about to be honest. There are five different heroes to pick from, once picked you head into battle in a number of different environments. I wouldn’t expect a big AAA production here. Mid-tier can be a great space for video games, but with Fatshark who is responsible for the multiplayer War of the Roses and War of the Vikings games at the wheel it’s going to be great to see.
