According to the list published on the pre-order information section of the Xbox One website, the list of countries is quite small. Â The likes of Japan have been left off the list and can imagine a few gamers from the land of the rising sun being somewhat bewildered by this.
It remains to be seen but here is the list directly from source.

I feel gamers across the world will be taking even more jabs at Microsoft regarding this, especially with the number of internet meme’s aimed at the global giant. Â With the intense battle to one up each other continuing at a thick and fast pace, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. Â With Xbox currently leading in console pre-orders, is this Sony’s chance to shine and capitalize?
How will Microsoft try to recover from all this? I have no idea but the console war has already started to take shape and I look forward to the outcome.
