Closer Look
Now we shall go ahead and take a closer look at the P533 racing headset from Arctic. To start, the general box removes itself from the typical Arctic white and blue theme, sporting a racing theme similar to that in which the headset follows also.
The front displays all of your typical information such as an image of the product, the brand name, model name and so on.
The rear of the box displays a better image of the product, highlighting some of the key features of the headset and additional information on compatibility lower down.
Included in the box is the traditional instruction booklet with information on the 100% happy agreement from Arctic and warranty information. Aside from this we also have the headset, cable extender with split adapter and finally, a hardened carry case.
We will now take a look at the headset in a little more details and show you what all the fuss is about! As you can see, the headset follows a black/gray/red theme with undertone of mirror finish metal. Very similar those those headsets worn by pit-stop crew during intense racing.
The headband features a special Arctic logo/naming and red stitching to tie in with the racing theme. A cool touch!
Much like the headband, the earcups are made of a leather like material and support the headset snugly to the user’s head. A red velvety inner cloth continues the theme we see throughout.
The outer shell of the right hand driver, opposing the microphone side, has a volume knob which allows for easy adjustment to your audio.
The red on black theme follows on to the wiring which is rigged up to the boom mic and is fully flexible to suit every fitting style.
Finally, the P533 offers a red cable and single gold plated 3 pole 3.5mm jack.
Now, lets test the headset out and see how it performs as a whole.
