The first thing I noticed when removing the side panel, was a carbon effect plastic cover which hides the side of the PSU and drive bays.  This is an ingenious idea and to come included with a mid-tower is phenomenal.  This not only shows innovation but means BitFenix actually listens to their consumers unlike some other companies.

Taking a closer look at the drive bays, there are 6 plastic trays all with 2.5” SSD/HDD support via 4 x small screw holes.  Nothing unusual here and the bays themselves are both removable to allow support for a 240mm radiator.

To remove the top drive bay, simply hold the 2 clips in and slide out.  The bottom one requires you to unscrew 4 small screws on the base of the case; after of course taking the top one out first.

The 5.25” drive bays is clear and has black plastic clips designed to keep your devices in place such as DVD-RW’s etc.  This is also a good place to put a pump/res combo and allow you use a custom water loop within your system.

One thing I wish other manufactures would take a look at, is the quick and easy to see installation guide for the motherboard stand-offs on the motherboard tray.  Not everyone is an experienced builder and it is nice to see those who need it getting pointed in the right direction.

On the floor of the case towards the rear, we have the PSU mounting area which included 4 small rubber nibs which is designed to reduce vibration of the power supply during operation.  Also in view is the mesh and dust filter which we took a look at earlier.
