[section_title title=Closer Look – Exterior]Â Closer Look – Exterior
Taking a look at the front of the box and we can see the Nanoxia and Deep Silence 3 branding across the top, where on the bottom it says “Turn on German Engineering”. Taking up most of the middle of the box is a nice outline image of the Deep Silence 3 itself as well as a few images off to the right letting us know some of the features of the case.
Both of the sides feature the same information in the way of a full specifications list and also letting us know what colour Deep Silence 3 is inside.
On the back of the box there is a very detailed picture that covers and highlights quite a few of the Deep Silence 3’s features.
Included inside the case is a little box with some nice accessories in it. We have a 8pin PSU extensions cable, rubber grommets to close up the water cooling holes in the back, 5.25″ drive bay front, zipties and a host full of screws to help us get all our hardware installed in the case as easy as possible.
Taking a look at the front of the case and it is very sleek and should fit in nicely with most surroundings, whether in the office or at home.
Opening the top panel of the front reveals 3 x easily removable 5.25″ drive bays and the fan controllers just below the bottom drive bay.
The front IO panel is located on the top of the case and features the power button, 2 x USB3 and 1 x USB2 ports alongside the headphone and mic jacks.
The whole front panel of the case is easily removed and allows access to change or clean the front fans and dust filter.
Moving on around to the back of the case and we have the 3rd included 120mm fan, 4 x holes for water cooling tubing, back panel motherboard cut out, 7 x PCI expansion slots and a cut out for a bottom mounted power supply.
The bottom mounted PSU of course has an easily removable dust cover to help protect it.
The top of the case also features space for 2 x 120mm or 140mm fans. When first taking the case out of the box these fan vents are actually covered from the inside with noise dampeners.
On the bottom of the case we can again see the power supply dust cover and another vent that will allow for a bottom mounted 120mm or 140mm fan to be installed inside the case.
