NZXT H440 Razer Special Edition Case Review 33

[section_title title=Introduction]

Introduction

NZXT is a well-known PC case manufacturer and they have a massive following. Over the years, they have brought out many top-end cases that have instantly become fan favourites with consumers across the market. Some of the most memorable for me were the Phantom Full Tower, which I always wanted but never ended up buying. A few months back, NZXT has released the H440 (review here) and S340 (review here) cases which, at the time, were some of the best gaming cases available, especially for their given prices. More recently, NZXT has announced their Noctis 450 case which looks to combine the exterior aesthetics of the Phantom with the interior of the H440 which is sure to go over big with the community.

So, what do you do when you have one of the hottest cases on the market? Well, if you are NZXT, you team up with Razer to design a special edition of it. Razer is a worldwide leader in the peripheral sector and has a very big impact in the PC gaming world. When it comes to Razer, they may get a lot of flak from some, but there is no denying they are here to stay. From the Death Adder to the Blade, Razer has specifically targeted the PC gaming scene and have no need to cater anywhere else, at the moment of course.

So what did these two power houses team up for? Well, if the title of this review doesn’t give it away then nothing else will! That is right, NZXT team up with Razer to design a special Razer edition H440 case, as if it wasn’t good enough already. Aside from a couple of the 3-headed snake logos, one of the main updates is the green glow that will now come from under the chassis when the lights are turned on. Another one of the nice features that we also saw with the original H440 is the inclusion of 4x fans, 3x as front intake and 1x as an exhaust, this sets users up to have great airflow and leaves them without the need to purchase fans separately unless they really desire.

Enough of me rambling on, let’s have a look at the specifications and get into the review already!
