Thermal Performance

To put it simply, our thermal performance test for ITX cases is quite simple, our Intel Pentium K G3258 is ran at 3.2GHz steady with stock voltages.  Temperature is measured in an idle state and when at full load running Prime95.  Delta temperatures are taken as a baseline reference, but you can expect a variance of 1-2c depending on airflow and how cool your surroundings etc.  The final results were taken after 15 minutes of their respective benchmarks, thus giving us the results below:

3.2GHz Temps Idle

3.2GHz Temps Load

Looking at the graphs above, it’s clear to see that the included 1 x 200mm intake on the small, but mighty Evolv ITX gives it cooling superiority over the Atomic and Octans respectively.  Although Phanteks haven’t included any exhaust fans, I expect adding your own will probably yield another 1c drop; give or take ambient and climate etc.
