[section_title title=Installation]Installation

Installing my test system in the RAIDMAX Vampire Winterfall was easy as pie. The case is so big, spacious and features plenty of cable management options it makes building inside it a breeze. This case is definitely made to have a bit more hardware in it than what I installed but even as such it will still give users the opportunity to have a good looking build whatever they decide to put inside.

One of the things to mention is the fact that this case is so big some of the cables from my power supply would not make it to their destination when trying to use the cable management options. This really is not a problem as extensions can be purchased easily in most place online and is just something I felt you all should know about in case you plan on using a standard non-modular PSU inside as you may run into the same issue. As you can see the 8-pin power cable and power cables for the graphics card were not long enough to use the routing system and had to just be left out in the case, the 24-pin power cable was just long enough to reach its plug but only just.

One thing I was fairly impressed with was the room left above the top of my Corsair h80i after it was installed. In a lot of case the h80i would be just about touching the top of the case which really is a shame. So many cases come with the implementation that they can accommodate water cooling, when really they can’t, or at least not properly. What the below image shows is that you could still fit another radiator in the top slot and it would fit above the H80i with no problems, something a lot of the time is just not possible in other cases. Well played RAIDMAX, well played.
