Moving onto the inside and it is very hard to miss the motherboard tray, this is likely to be the first thing everyone will notice. Why do you ask? Well, if you have to ask you haven’t looked at the below picture yet as it is a bright neon green! I personally think it is a nice touch and is definitely nice to see something a bit different.
As previously mentioned there is room for a bottom mounted PSU and an extra fan if you need a bit more airflow. Also the cutout in the motherboard tray to pass cables through to the back should be big enough for all the cables you may need to use.
RAIDMAX has taken the time to have the motherboard standoffs pre-installed, they have also included a very big cutout in the top of the motherboard tray that will allow users to install/change CPU coolers with ease.
The front 3 x 5.25″ drive bays feature a tool less design, though there is still room on the back side to screw them in if need be.
As far as drive bays go, under the top 5.25″ bays there are 4 x 3.5 bays and under those, space for either 3 x 3.5″ or 2.5″ drives. While SSDs are becoming cheaper and more popular a lot of people still use the old 3.5″ mechanical drives for their massive storage sizes.
The top 3.5″ drive bays are removable or can be re-sized if need be. First you will just need to undo a couple of thumb screws found in the 5.25″ drive bays for the back piece.
