[section_title title=Introduction]Introduction

Manufacturer: Noctua
Model: Redux
Price: £8.99 – £13.49 (at time of review)
Following on from our previous Noctua review on the IndustrialPPC fans today we are taking a look at the more consumer friendly Redux line. It used to be when people thought of Noctua they immediately associated them with outstanding performance with a not so pleasing design. This is no longer the case with the two latest ranges of fans, Noctua have listened to their customers and have given them a few new colour options.

The Redux line features 13 fans overall, including: 4x 140mm, 3x 120mm, 2x 92mm and 3x 80mm fans.  They offer a number of different RPMs and can come with either a 4-pin PWM connector or a standard 3-pin connector.  You can even get a round fan if you are looking for a 140mm model.

As there are different sizes and speeds they of course come with different prices. If you are looking to pick up some of the Noctua Redux fans you can expect to pay between £8.99 for the 80mm up to £13.49 or so for the 140mm version.  This may seem a bit much to some but for those who know Noctua know they represent quality and you get what you pay for; considering the IndustrialPPC line cost £20+ per fan the Redux is definitely the way to go if you are looking to get some new matching fans for your PC.

Before we look at the specifications lets see what Noctua have to say about their Redux range of fans.
