In true Thermalright spirit, the packaging is very simplistic and there is nothing wrong with that. You don’t need a flashy box to convey the fact their is a quality product inside. Â On the top is the Thermalright, Inc. logo in the middle while the front is left blank.
Both sides of the box feature the model name, Archon IB-E X2 and the URL to the Thermalright website – www.thermalright.com
Upon opening the top flap of the box we are greeted with the installation manual and accessories box.
Inside the accessories box is everything we would need to install it on the supported AMD and Intel sockets, including:
Backplate
Frontplate
CPU Rentention plate
4 x fan retention clips
fan splitter
Chill Factor 3 TIM
Screws, washers and anti-vibration pads
