The box for the LOKI II has a nice design to it. On the front we can see the Xigmatek ‘X’ logo in the top left with the model name to the right. Just below we can see a nice image of the cooler itself.
On one side of the box, users will be able to see some of the features as well as a compatibility list of CPU sockets it will fit on.
The other side of the box gives us an image of the LOKI II that is quite similar to that on the front, just from a different angle.
There is no over-the-top packaging on the inside of the box, Xigmatek have decided to use the installation guide to help protect the cooler and fan.
Getting everything out of the box and there is of course the LOKI II CPU cooler, 92mm PWM fan with installation brackets and all the hardware to install it on most AMD and Intel sockets.
The LOKI II, depending how you look at it can look like its bases on a triangle shape, shield or even an X. However, the important thing to notice here is the fact that the heat pipes come all the way up through the top fin.
As mentioned it has direct touch technology and as such the heat pipes will make contact with the CPU which should equate to better performance all around.
