SetupÂ
Setup is as easy as one could hope for. Make sure the HV-SK452BT has a bit of charge, turn the speaker on then turn on Bluetooth on your desired device and connect to the HV-SK452BT option and you should be well on your way.
Audio QualityÂ
The audio quality was what I have come to expect from a single speaker unit. It has a good sound to it and while it has very little bass, as to be expected it can put out a rather big sound for a small device. There is little to no distortion at all even when at the loudest volumes that the HV-SK452BT has to offer. Â This is an impressive feat in itself and definitely makes this a worthy contender in the ever so crowded Bluetooth speaker market.
Range Test
The range of the HV-SK452BT is what I personally found most impressive. I normally sit in a room upstairs and if I bring my phone out in the hallway most speakers will loose connection. Not the HV-SK452BT oh no buddy! This little beast let me go ANYWHERE in my house and it did not skip a beat, literally! This has to be the most impressive feature of this speaker especially when considering how small it is, I was and am still truly amazed by this!
Battery Life
The battery life wasn’t the best but then again that is to be expected from such a small device. On the same hand as long as you are not blasting it at full volume it will in fact last longer than the rated 4 hours. I was getting between 5-6hours out of a full charge which is good enough to get most people through the day.
