Knowing my 4770K is not one of the good ones I normally do not set my hopes very high. As long as I can hit 4.5GHz on the motherboard at 1.3V for testing purposes I normally don’t worry too much more of what is achievable, though I do give it a fair shot.
With that being said I set off on my journey; I normally up the voltage to 1.4V and start upping the multiplier by 1 until I get an error. I would of course then back the multiplier down 1 and start working the voltage down .1 until I receive an error or BSOD. In this case I was able to achieve 4.6GHz at 1.319v, not the best result but it is what it is.
