Conclusion

We look back over all the Assassin’s Creed games in the main franchise with this, the 9th of the main franchise. Overall this is a great port from console, but the main question I would ask is whether this game is worth having a look at, I would certainly say yes, the price may be big right now, but it is a good game that’s worth having a play through. The characters are interesting and the story is great, I especially love the tip of the hat to Edward Kenway. Despite the problems it has for me, like the slightly unresponsive free running/climbing and the lack of multiplayer, I do still really like this game. I see this game as a great blend between Batman, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor and the other AC games, it feels like a great mixture and I’m glad Ubisoft are taking strides to preserve this title for a longer period rather than letting it slowly become too repetitive.
