When playing this it feels a lot like Battlefield when playing the FPS parts of the game, but the vehicles sadly don’t. They’re simplified far too much and I don’t actually like using the vehicles too much, hopefully, it’s something that DICE can address and get right with a future patch or even DLC. I agree with opinions that this type of FPS will attract players alone, simply down to the fact that it’s not another modern military shooter, or World War shooter which hopefully changes up the genre a little bit and force others to change how the genre is approached. As mentioned before you are given a card system with of course your loadout, the card system is great because you’re given a good variety of different things to add in to change up how you play. It also opens up the chance for a bunch of people to have different loadouts to you, it is something that is taken from Titanfall though, which I think they utilised better though.

Even though there aren’t too many maps, the ones that are in the game are a ton of fun to just run around in. Endor is my personal favourite, running around the massive forest even going up into the Ewok’s little tree houses, the only problem is that you don’t see any running around, even if you see Jawa’s running around Tatooine… The weapons or lack thereof do play really great, and getting a kill with them is oh so satisfying, although sometimes I do feel like a real Stormtrooper sometimes.

The game has a bunch of different game modes which are:

Fighter Squadron – Dogfights between the two faction’s ships which include the Millenium Falcon!

Supremacy – A 40 player server where the two teams fight for control of five key points for a victory.

Cargo – Fight to capture cargo boxes from the opposing team, kind of like capture the flag.

Droid Run – 6 vs 6 fight to capture and hold onto three droids.

Walker Assault – 40 player server where Rebels fight to take out the Empire, or the other way around and crush the Rebels.

Blast – 10 vs 10 TDM match Rebels pitted against the Imperials.

Drop Zone – 8 vs 8 where the teams are fighting for control of pods that are dropped down which proves fairly crazy.

Heroes vs Villains – Han Solo, Boba Fett, Luke & Leia Skywalker with Darth Vader and others fight against one another to try to win the match!

Hero Hunt – A seven-man team go up against a hero and try to take them out, whoever takes out the hero becomes the hero next!

If DICE goes ahead and add more guns and maps, maybe even fix the vehicles, this could turn out to be one of the finest multiplayer games in the market.
