It seems that Square Enix know that PC gamers want the new Final Fantasy game to come out on PC. We have seen a bunch of them come over from consoles lately and maybe the popularity of them is making Square Enix think about using the popularity to gather tons more sales. Director Hajime Tabata had an interview with Engadget and said “”Unfortunately we weren’t able to do simultaneous development on a PC and console version for XV.”
He also went on to say that the maximising and optimising for the console versions of the game which has left them no time for the PC version. Though Tabata did say that they are taking a look at PC as another outlet for the game and they will need to consider their options, although they aren’t decided. I think this is good to get a game like this to release on PC even if it is a little later than the console, it just makes PC better to have these titles move on over, thoughts?
